We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.
Our platform is designed to be fully navigable using a keyboard. We ensure that focus states are clearly visible and that the logical tab order follows the visual flow of the page.
We use high-contrast color ratios for text and UI elements. Our typography is chosen for readability, and we avoid using color as the only way to convey important information.
While we strive for perfection, some older document uploads or legacy exam-style diagrams may not be fully accessible yet. We are working to provide text alternatives for all visual content.
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Markella. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers. We aim to respond to all accessibility-related queries within 2 business days.
Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. Our team undergoes regular training and uses automated tools alongside manual testing to ensure we maintain a high level of inclusivity.
